The Domaine de Hanna trust was established in 2014 in order to preserve and maintain the genealogy of the Hanna Family. The trust is constantly researching the ancestry of the family, currently spanning hundreds of years and including all ancestral family trees.

The modern branch of the Hanna family has its roots from Fthiotida, a central Greek provence. The region is famous for the great battles fought here, some of which affected the course of history such as the Battle of Plataiai and the Battle of Chaironia and others of unsurpassed symbolic significance such as the Battle of Thermopylae led by King Leonidas of Sparta against the Persian Empire.
